How to Delete Your Savvy Expense Pro Account
In Savvy Expense Pro, your data is securely stored in the cloud, allowing you to access it from any device. If you decide to start over or need to permanently delete your account and data, you can do so by following these steps.
Step 1: Go to the Settings tab on the mobile app
Make sure you are logged into the account you wish to delete. On the bottom navigation bar of the app, tap on the 'Settings' tab.
This process is the same for all supported platforms (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android) and all account types (Email, Google, or Apple Sign-In).
Step 2: Go to the Account Details screen
At the top of the Settings screen, you will see your account information. Tap on your name (or 'Apple Account') to open the Account Details screen.
Step 3: Tap on the 'Delete Account' button
Scroll to the bottom of the Account Details screen and tap the 'Delete Account' button to begin the deletion process.
Warning: This action is permanent and irreversible. Both your account and all associated financial data will be permanently deleted. Please be certain this is what you want to do.
Step 4: [Optional] Sign in to finalize account deletion
For security, you may be asked to sign in and enter your account details one last time to confirm your identity before the deletion is finalized.
After Your Account is Deleted
You will be returned to the login screen, and a confirmation message will appear informing you that your account has been successfully deleted.
You may then sign in with a different account or sign up for a new one. You are free to re-use the email address from the account you just deleted if you choose to create a new account.
